Artificial grass options for playground and landscape projects
Explore commercial artificial grass turf for playground and recreation projects. Request pile, backing, drainage and installation information for the site.

Artificial grass can provide a consistent landscape finish around playgrounds and recreation areas, but product selection must be coordinated with drainage, substrate, seam planning, traffic level and any impact-attenuation system required by the project.

Configurations selected for heavier circulation and maintenance conditions.
Turf considered together with base preparation, shock-pad or impact requirements where applicable.
Model specifications vary. Share the project brief before final selection so dimensions, capacity, materials, color, installation method and documentation can be confirmed for the chosen configuration.

These products can be specified for new builds, replacements or phased upgrades where the selected model suits the users, supervision plan and site conditions.
For a faster model shortlist, send the destination, site dimensions or plan, intended users, target quantity, budget range and any tender or safety-document requirements. ZZRS will respond with suitable starting models and the information needed to compare them.
Yes, safety is our priority. ZZRS synthetic turf is manufactured using 100% eco-friendly, non-toxic materials. It is certified lead-free and free from harmful chemicals (REACH compliant), making it perfectly safe for schools, nurseries, and public parks.
Our grass features a highly permeable backing with standard drainage holes every 10-15cm. This allows water to pass through at a rate of over 1600mm per hour, ensuring the playground remains dry and usable even shortly after a heavy downpour.
While all outdoor surfaces absorb heat, our playground turf is engineered with Cool-Heat Technology and UV-reflective fibers. This reduces surface temperatures compared to standard landscape grass. We also recommend using specific infills to further enhance heat dissipation.
Absolutely. We use high-density, "C-shaped" or "W-shaped" fiber technology which provides excellent resilience. The fibers are designed to "spring back" even after heavy foot traffic, maintaining a lush, natural look for years without flattening.
For playground safety, we recommend installing the turf over a compacted crushed stone base with an optional Shock Pad layer. The shock pad is crucial for meeting Fall Height (HIC) requirements, especially under tall equipment like [Climbing Play Sets].
Artificial turf is exceptionally low-maintenance compared to natural grass. It requires no mowing, watering, or fertilizing. We recommend occasional brushing to keep the fibers upright and a simple rinse with water to remove dust or organic debris.
Yes. Our turf is tested for fire retardancy. While it won't "burn" in the traditional sense, it is designed to melt rather than spread flames, providing an extra layer of safety for public play areas.
